Build it

Here are the various CAD dimension drawings for the GEK. The files are version controlled so make sure you are working with the most recent version. G-code files and/or tool path corrected .dxf files for CNC plasma cutting are also available on request.

In addition to the sheetmetal parts descibed in the CAD drawings, you will also need the following plumbing and auxillary parts to assemble the unit. The instructions for fabricating, assembling and firing the GEK are in the GEK wiki sandbox .

All the below material below is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike license. All GEK designs are open source and actively supported by ALL Power Labs, thus you are welcome to use them free of charge for any personal use or non-commercial endeavor. If you do, we only request you acknowledge the source and similarly post documentation for updates and/or new additions you come up with for the GEK.

Using these materials for commerical manufacturing and sale requires a formal licensing agreement with ALL Power Labs. The licensing fee is a simple 10% on gross retail sales. If you are going in this direction, please contact Jim Mason at “gek_(at)_allpowerlabs_(dot)_org for more details.
